Dora María Vidales

AMI TRAINER

Dora María Vidales ha trabajado dentro del área de educación desde 1972 y participado específicamente dentro del ámbito de Montessori desde 1975.

Ha sido maestra, coordinadora, directora y dueña de escuela en la Ciudad de México. Ha trabajado como maestra en grupos de Casa de los Niños y Comunidad Infantil por más de 25 años y es madre y abuela de niños Montessori.

Es entrenadora asistente para los cursos internacionales de AMI. Por más de 10 años ha participado en el entrenamiento de guías de Comunidad Infantil y de Casa de los Niños tanto en Denver Colorado como en la Ciudad de México y ha sido examinadora en varios cursos y en diferentes lugares. Todo esto dentro de Centros de entrenamiento internacional pertenecientes y certificados por la Asociación Montessori Internacional (AMI) con sede en Holanda.

En el sector público fue parte del equipo que elaboró el programa oficial de guarderías para el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social. Ha dado cursos y talleres sobre educación y sobre Montessori tanto en el sector público como en el privado.

Es guía Montessori con diploma internacional (AMI) de Comunidad Infantil (0-3 años) y de Casa de los niños (3-6 años) y curso parcialmente el entrenamiento para maestra de Taller (6-12años). Tiene licenciatura en Psicología y está en el proceso de titulación de la maestría en la misma área.

Este último año ha sido la entrenadora en dos cursos AMI de asistentes Montessori para el nivel de 0 a 3 años, uno en Cancún, México y el otro en el Washington Montessori Institute de la Universidad de Loyola, Columbia MD, en Estados Unidos.

María del Coral Argüelles

AMI TRAINER

Maria del Coral Ruiz es guía AMI de Casa de niños.

Con más de 40 años de experiencia, ha sido miembro del grupo de entrenadoras de China y Costa Rica y asistente de entrenamiento en San Diego.

Actualmente es directora de entrenamiento en Houston Montessori Institute y en el Instituto Paolini de Puebla, México.

Once the child can speak, he can express himself

Language and the possibility of an intelligent communication with others are a very important step in the development of independence, so we intend to help the child in this sense by fostering an adequate communication with peers, establishing group conversation periods, educating their ability to listen… We will propose activities to enrich their vocabulary, providing them with experiences that bring them closer to literature, through songs, poems, tongue twisters, riddles, rhymes, books … It is important to awaken interest and desire to read books from an early age.

Practical Life

The hands are the instruments of man’s intelligence

This area of development is recognized like the heart of Montessori. In the first months of life the child is an observer interested in everything that happens around him/her and from the first year of life he/she becomes an active collaborator. The child imitates the actions around him/her, not because someone tells them, but because of an intimate need. This imitation is only observed if the child is free to act. The child wants to accomplish what he has seen executed, through daily activities is that the child builds his mind, the child over the months has been giving them a meaning, becoming familiar with them and understanding them. Through Practical Life activities, the child builds the basis of his intelligence, is oriented in his environment and acquires self-control. Their intellect grows as their work with their hands, their personality integrates, mind and body work together, memory is strengthened.

The first organs that begin to function in the child are the sensory organs. The child begins to absorb the world and then analyzes it. Sensory integration takes place in the Infant Community environment. Develop and improve their level of visual coordination, acquire ability to follow a sequence, dexterity in their movements, develop their ability to observe and concentration.
