Valencia Montessori School is giving its students an holistic education inspired in the Association Montessori Internationale principles (AMI). As an authentic Montessori school, VMS is a mixed private school, situated in Valencia, offering a complete education to students between 1 and 12 years of age.

It was founded in 2012 by Sonia Mocholi, with the aim of providing a respectful and responsable education for children who want to study in a multicultural environment through the Montessori Curriculum and following the Common Core as an American School.

A place where they are excited to learn, retain their knowledge and pursue their passions. Rather than restricting their natural tendencies, Valencia Montessori School’s Educational Programme uses children’s innate tendencies to their advantage.

Our team include the expertise on US Education Standards and Montessori pedagogy. Qualified teachers and AMI-trained guides carefully create indoor and outdoor environments to entice students to act on their educational interests. Rich in a variety of age-appropriate studies and manipulative materials, VMS classrooms are designed to invite children to move about and freely engage with other children and the teacher as desired.
